There is a lot of stress to this life. Breathe Deep is here to teach people the tools to come back home to themselves, to lighten the load, to live life fully.
James Tranter is a breathwork and cold exposure facilitator whose mission is to free people’s self-expression and allow them to fall in love with life.
Since 2019 Jimmy has been holding official Wim Hof Workshops in Australia, progressing to a level 2 certification and holding weekend retreats and advanced sessions.
For the previous 12 years, Jimmy has worked as a Graphic Designer for leading advertising, publishing and tech companies here and in the UK. As a tightly-wound and cerebral (if not a bit humorous) office worker, Wim Hof work came to him on his path in 2017 and he followed the call to expeditions and workshops with Wim in Europe.
James discovered the breath and cold was the path into his body. The real healing and expansion began. As someone with a lot of history in self-development and ‘mummy-daddy stuff’ awareness, this new level of embodiment was his path out of a predictable life of stress, anxiety and choice-constipation.
Since then, the path has been a growth and spiritual one. Vipassana, dance, plant medicine, shamanic, sexual and spiritual healing and growth. But don’t worry, as a person with their roots in the real world, Jimmy comes back to bear his fruits of learning to those who are woo-allergic and dogma-weary.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE
“Jimmy is a great instructor, down to earth, calm, supportive, clear, and well presented. He gave us a really insightful day into the the 3 pillars, with the right level of information and openness to questions so that everyone in the group felt empowered and capable of doing the breathwork and ice bath. It was a transformative experience and I'm definitely going to continue to expand my knowledge in the method. I'd highly recommend and only wish we lived closer so could join in some of the community aspects he provides too. 10/10.”

The values behind the name
Breathe
Our breath is the one thing that we have with us our whole life from start to finish. This action that we can alter consciously also runs autonomously in the background. A bridge between the conscious and the unconscious. The gateway to our experience of life. Our physiology, our psychology, our spirit.
Deep
Depth brings to mind a level of awareness. Depth is non-dogmatic. A permission to go deep into the way we function and the way we think. A deep breath can be big. A deep breath can be gentle. A deep breath can be one that we follow with all our attention. But more than anything, deep represents the way we explore ourselves and the understanding we come back with.
